CANCELLATION...
What is the party cancellation policy and what happens to
my deposit if I need to cancel?
When you contract for your party, you will pay a non-refundable deposit at time of contract & your contract will be considered binding upon this deposit payment. This deposit is not refundable. If an extreme medical or weather related emergency comes up and you need
to cancel your pary, we will be happy to reschedule your
party (based on circumstances & scheduling availability)
without loss of deposit. If you cannot reschedule, you will
forfeit the deposit upon cancellation. If you cancel within 3 weeks of your party date you will forfeit the deposit paid plus incur a $100 cancellation fee. If you cancel within one week of your party you will forfeit your deposit plus incur a $150 cancellation fee. If you cancel on the day of your party, contract is considered binding and no refunds will be offered, you will owe your full balance. If you have contracted for a Whole Shabang & the cake or cupcakes have already been purchased, you will also be responsible for a $25 charge for the cost of the cake (1/2 sheet or cupcakes), additional sizes and addtional cakes ordered will be charged at the contracted price, but you are welcome to pick it up & take it home.

What if I need to reschedule the date of my party?
We will be happy to reschedule a party date within 3 days of the original date of your party contract.
The "original date" refers to the date the contract was written
by Funfit and your deposit was paid. After 3 days there will
be a mandatory rescheduling fee of $100.00. If you reschedule within one week of your party your deposit will transfer to the new date, however you will incur a $150 cancellation fee. If you reschedule on the day of your party, contract is considered binding and no refunds will be offered, you will owe your full balance, except for the deposit which will transfer to the new date. If you have contracted for a Whole Shabang & the cake or cupcakes have already been purchased, you will also be responsible for a $25 charge for the cost of the cake (1/2 sheet or cupcakes), additional sizes and addtional cakes ordered will be charged at the contracted price, but you are welcome to pick it up & take it home.

What happens if I plan an outside party and the weather does
not cooperate?
If you are planning an outdoor party,
you should ALWAYS have an alternate plan incase the weather
does not cooperate. All parties can be taken indoors. If our staff feels a party cannot be set-up outdoors
because of weather conditions, they have the right to deny
set-up and will therefore have to move your party inside.
This decision is based on the safety of your children and
the protection of our equipment. If you choose to set up your
party outdoors and it starts to rain while your party is set-up,
we will have to stop the party, move inside or end it. We
will not be able to refund money because of the weather. None
of our parties can be set-up outside in high winds or if it
has rained within 3 hours of the start
of your party. If it is a particularly windy day,
your party will have to be moved indoors. For severe weather
and medical emergencies, parties can be changed to another available
date without loss of your deposit.
What is required to reserve a party date?
To reserve a party date you will need to complete a party contract for the day & time (this can be easily done by phone), as well as pay a non-refundable deposit. The balance of the party can be paid on the day of your party. Balances for parties held at our center can be paid by cash, check or charge, balances paid on parties held at your location, can only be paid in cash (no other form will be accepted), unless you choose to prepay your balance. (Be prepared however to have cash on hand incase of addtional children attending over the included 15 or 20).
Are all ages of children included
in the final count?
All children that participate in the party are included
in the final count. Infants that stay in seats and are too
young to play, are not included. The Birthday Child and his/her
siblings are included in the final count. Final counts are based on who attends your party not on who you invite.
How many staff are at the parties?
Parties at Funfit have at least 1 party leader and 1 helper. All travel parties will have 1-2 staff depending
on the party and the travel schedule for the day.
Parties with a lot of extra kids may have an additional staff
scheduled.
Can I request a specific instructor?
You can always request a specific instructor for a party,
however, not all instructors are available at all times. If the Instructor you want is not available, another one of our fabuilously, fun Instructors will be substituted.
How much extra seating is there
for adults at Funfit?
There is plenty of seating available for adults, as well as lots of roaming around room. Seats are available in the party room as well as in the waiting area in Olney and in the party rooms or outside the rooms in Germantown.
